Great atmosphere.

Went out on a Saturday night with 4 adults and 2 kids. Food was excellent. Staff was great, they had a kids menu and they worked to keep the kids happy (food first, quick snacks available). The view was nice and prices were ok. The building was a reasonably maintained old building. I'm sure we'll go back.

Attentive staff, good food.

I worked in constructing the building next door. They let us use their bathroom and I ordered lunch from them more than once and each time it was, In my eyes perfect it was cooked to perfection. They were very nice and they accommodated my request, since I worked next door.

11 Water street is our go-to place for dinner out in town. Great views, delicious food, wonderful staff, and decent prices.

Amazing as always!

Good place for lunch or dinner, a little pricey, but hey, it's Exeter. Good portions, well-prepared. We had the fish and chips. Nice piece of Haddock and homemade fries. Their bisques should be sampled. We had the corn bisque and it was tasty, but don't add salt. There's enough in it. I had the burger before and it's a good one.

The server was inattentive and seemed annoyed at my dietary restriction. I don't plan on going back and wouldn't recommend the restaurant to friends.

Mike is a great bartender. He made me a delicious flat margarita and I had a fantastic fish and chips from the kitchen. Service and atmosphere is great there.

This place is and Exeter New Hampshire gem! I think a lot of people forget that 11 Water Street is a full-service restaurants serving lunch and dinner. I was there with a friend recently and we were the only two patrons in the restaurant. We had most excellent service from our server, Ray. Seating overlooks the scenic Exeter River going into the Swampscott River in Historic downtown Exeter. The menu has plenty to choose from. The decor may be simple but the food can be complex :-)

We used to be regulars. Gone significantly downhill since Corey left. Food quality has gone down. The table was sticky and waitress told us this was normal. She couldn't even lift the menu off the table! Umm not usual and disgusting! Love the location but miss what this place used to be.

Needs night lights on the river and larger windows. Time for an upgrade. Good bar food.

The cheeseburger with bacon was delicious. The lower bar atmosphere was relaxed and the service was great.

Great value. Food is delicious and priced very well. My wife and I just ate there. Neither one of us could finish our sandwiches. I had a craft beer and she had a margarita and with a 20%+ tip, it was under $45

Food is pretty good but I rarely get good service.

I found the place overpriced. I had better food nearby the night before for less. The place was dirty. It took 10 min to get a waiter/waitress to order a drink. The bar in the basement has a nice view but who puts a bars in a basement? If you eat at the bar, the staff must bring your food down from upstairs. Also, again if you are at the bar and paying with a credit card, they have to walk upstairs with your card (out of sight) to put the charge through. It's a skimmers dream job.... I will not patronize this business again.
